program_insect
If you listen to the old C64 tunes, a lot of them treat the three oscillators on the synth as totally independent voices...one osc will be doing a drum track, one a bass, and one a lead, for example. I know that you can get this to happen by programming the wavetables extensively, but would it be possible to actually control each oscillator on seperate midi channels? This would allow us to use whatever sequencer we wanted to make 3-voices sid sequences. First of all, is this possible at all? Second, what would it take to let the MIDIBOX_SID app handle this? This would really be my dream for Sid use!
kokoon
i think you can assign a key range for each OSC separately.

uriel
Hi anybody,This thread started well when no news coming out !!!! I also asked myself about how making the MBseq, playing with SIDapp and FM(OPL3)app on more than one track, and by the way, never making 16 SIDboards for playing in freedom...HOW MANY MIDI TRACKS/SID CAN BE PLAYED ?So, I try again if this post is not too old ??? TK...if you see it ???Best regardsuriel (fr)
stryd_one
three oscs per sid, each with it's own midi channel, four sids per mbsid maximum :)
