d2k
Hi...Just wondering the best way to power the MBNG LC box. I'd ideally like to use one wall plug to power both the core and MF module, even better would be if anyone has a schem for an internal transformer psu...how are other mbhp'ers powering (or will be) they're MBLC box?On another tip - would it be possible to have a password protection system written in the f/w so when u turn a box on after the initial boot f/w screen ud have to press, ie a button combination, to 'unlock' the box - the reason i say this is cos the amount of work that goes in to these gems, it'd be nice to know that if one ever got stolen the theif wud have unfunctional box - which would at least bring some comfort for all the effort we put in to these beauties...TaDan
uclaros
Reburning the PIC whould be the easiest way to unlock your box... Though the thief should recognise first that it is a MBLC! ::)

d2k
Hi...I've seen an open frame AC/DC Linear psu that gives voltages from 12-15 and is rated at 1.7A. Would this be suitable to power both the MF and Core module for the MBLC box? If so, that's be a result...;)NiceDan
