Hi,

No - This is not normal. What kind of Power Supply do You use? The combination of the modules and LCD should not take more than ~1A current, how much is your adapter rated for?

Moebius

p.s. Some PSUs have thermal fuses in them, so they switch off if loaded too heavily and back on after the PSU calms down..

the most strange is

that everything si working well

"exept the filter (it was working very well, good cutoff, and after

some notes it was very bad <,,,,,???)"

the sid is not geting hot , neither the 7805 or 7809

??? i think i must remove everything from the box and test everything

:-\

i notice that adaptator burn only if i play sound

out of the sid.

You have a power and or ground path from your SID to your amp, or your CORE to your PC, or both, or your CORE+SID are making a path from your PC to your amp, etc.

The burnt out wal wart thing is totally related to your "display stays lit" issue.....Did you lift the ground on the CORE MIDI yet like I suggested on the lit display thread?

Best
