massiveheadpain
hi,here is what i want to try to do:combine a bcr 2000 and a bcf 2000 into another case, re arrange the knobs and faders and buttons to my liking and throw in a 4ch audio/midi interface into the box. I was thinking to just daisy chain the behringer units, and send midi out from those into and audio midi interface, and then sending USB to the computer? I havent taken apart my behringer and i wanted to know if something like that would be possible? sorry for being a NEWBIE! ;D
stryd_one
Sounds feasible, why not. Do it at your own risk man, you might end up with a really expensive pile of junk :-\
DrBunsen
Depends how the front panel hardware is mounted. If they're all hardwired to a circuit board, you'll have to desolder them and remount them.
dengel
Similar but unrelated: Radioshack has a 60-key midi keyboard on sale that costs 60 bucks. Has anyone ever dissected a midi KB and reused the guts for another project?
