analofbrotha Posted June 16, 2006 Report Posted June 16, 2006 NEW HEY! :)Finally ordered kits !! 8)Hopeing to build a midbox sid with 2 x 20 lcd basic contols,Plus realtime cutoff and rez.Do I have all I need? DIN kit, AIN kit,CORE,kit SID,kit(sid chip),Box power supply,15v 300mabuttons,encoder,and 10k pots??Thank you very much for taking the time, lending the help.Back to reading :P Quote
TK. Posted June 16, 2006 Report Posted June 16, 2006 Controlling CutOff and Resonance with analog pots is not natively supported by the firmware, has anybody written a GOOD documented extension in the meantime? I don't think that an AIN module is required, so long not more than 8 pots are connected to the core. 300 mA sounds a little bit weak if the LCD has a backlight, a 500 mA PSU would do better. Best Regards, Thorsten. Quote
stryd_one Posted June 17, 2006 Report Posted June 17, 2006 are you sure you want to use pots for cutoff and not encoders? You may want to read this entry in the FAQ Quote

analofbrotha Posted June 18, 2006 Author Report Posted June 18, 2006 Just like the min max option of the pots instead of the 360 degree spin of ecoders. Quote
