NEW HEY! :)

Finally ordered kits !! 8)

Hopeing to build a midbox sid with 2 x 20 lcd basic contols,Plus realtime cutoff and rez.

Do I have all I need? 

DIN kit, AIN kit,CORE,kit SID,kit(sid chip),Box power supply,15v 300ma

buttons,encoder,and 10k pots??

Controlling CutOff and Resonance with analog pots is not natively supported by the firmware, has anybody written a GOOD documented extension in the meantime? I don't think that an AIN module is required, so long not more than 8 pots are connected to the core.

300 mA sounds a little bit weak if the LCD has a backlight, a 500 mA PSU would do better.

I would rather pots (min/max) than encoders

shhh  I'm still reading :-\

I'm very interested in learning the software programing side (learn as much as I can)

I use win 95 (old school)Any tips tricks? or what exactly to download?

Please excuse my newbieness...This is the most advance diy I've tried

And there is alot of info and somtimes hard to find what your looking for

Plus lingo is a bit confusing.

Love the site

hopes to become a regular in the know.

might be best to look to the wiki,

there are some great introduction-articles, esp. in the basic and general section

the application-development pages is a lot going on too, there are tutorials, links to installers and step-by-step instructions...

just look around a bit ;)

Thats were I been spending all my hot summer days ;)

I downloaded Active pearl,gptuils extra... confused as what eles to download(want to get them now while I have a chance)  NET LIMITED  slow speed plus not my suckn' computer.

I'll go over the basic and general section

for  refresh.
