Compyfox Posted June 21, 2006 Report Posted June 21, 2006 Hi!I'm a little bit curious. On the project page of the mbSID, there is a logical pannel for Logic to control the mbSID via SYSEX. For all other users, there's either SIDCONTROL (MIDI CC# only) or JSynthLib. So my question to you people:Somebody maybe made a mbSID mixermap for Cubase SX? I know that these things are rare, but maybe somebody was like "to hell with creating sounds, and then not being able to tweak them any further" and implemented all possible sources into his sequencer (if he's not using a fully fledged mbSID).I'm really curious. Maybe somebody really did this. Also I'd like to ask, if it's existing, if it's for the 4xSID or 1xSID version (or maybe even both). Some feedback would be nice. Thanks in advance.
Altitude Posted June 25, 2006 Report Posted June 25, 2006 I will be definitely making one. Cubase's midi device implementation is spectacular so writing one up should not be a big deal. There already is a VST plugin to control the midibox SID, btw (check the sticky)
Compyfox Posted June 25, 2006 Author Report Posted June 25, 2006 Yeah I know, but afaik it can't do SYSEX. And SYSEX, which is also essential for patchcreation (like the JSynthLib) gives a bit more possibilities if you have a module without complete control upgrades and 4 SID chips.
