matrigs Posted June 25, 2006 Report Posted June 25, 2006 hi !is there an essential list of lcd displays/lcd controllers to use with the midibox lc?on the ucapps lc site - there is this "KS0108 lcd" display. but i couldn't find an lcd with the KS0108 controller in poland anywhere with 240x64 resolution!maximum 192 or so. so what are other solutions for this - which lcd can i finally use? i don't really like the (2x40 lcd)x2 solution because on nearly every midibox lc picturei could find on ucapps a few centimeters of the lcd's weren't used and they destroyedthe overall design a bit. thanks
stryd_one Posted June 25, 2006 Report Posted June 25, 2006 HD61202 and T6963C can be used, as well as matrix orbital via IIC, or you can write a custom driver. Hope this helps.

The maximum resolution will be limted to what the controller can handle, but I'm not sure of the resolution limitations for each chipset... It should be in the datasheets of course :)
