M-audio Enigma software with other gear?

Here's a fun question: is it possible to program M-audio's Enigma software to recognize and function with other brand gear? I have an akai mpd16 and would love to use as many banks as a trigger finger. I dug around a little, but didn't know enough about xml to make a whole lot of sense of it. Thoughts?

Using a librarian won't increase the internal capabilities of your gear though....
