cs_menu_io_tables.inc problem...

Hi there,

I have a rather confusing problem.

No matter what Pins I attribute to various menu buttons in cs_menu_io_tables.inc,

Din pins 0 & 1 of the first shift register always call up the ADSR edit screen, and act as up/down cursors to the REL Value.

I am using an encoder, 4 selection buttons and an exe button, all located around shift registers 3 and 4, the first two used for a piano keyboard.I have disabled the up/down cursors in main.asm and set all other menu shortcut pin adresses to sr 0 pin 0

Any suggestions as how to disable pins 0 & 1 ?

Thanks in advance

Alex

Hi Alex,

check the encoder entries in mios_tables.inc, maybe you've still assigned an encoder to pin 0 and 1 - this overrules the button handler.

Best Regards, Thorsten.

Thanks Thorsten,

Indeed you where right,

I had only set the SR to 0, apparently Pins must be set to 0 also..

Thanks for making my day, AGAIN!!

Best regards

Alex

Hi Mr ModnaR,

Nope, it was an old 70s Bontempi toy I picked up for 1.50€ from a charity shop and resprayed ;D

I then had 2 Shaeffer panels made to size

I would really recommend Bontempi toys for keyboad projects as they are really simple to resolder and contacts are immortal!!

Glad you like my Sid

Cheers
