d2k Posted April 4, 2003 Report Posted April 4, 2003 Hey...Chek the Alps site - if anyone does em, it'll prolly be these fellaz...I rek they'll be pretty expensive tho so I would advise you design ur panel with regular LEDs placed above/below the encoders urself - remember you'll want sum LED rings too ;)BestDan

For a DIY project it doesn't make sense to use these, only for large quantity production where you can save a lot on the labor necessary for mounting the unit. At Frankfurt Musikmesse I talked to some ALPS guy, I don't remember the number he told me, but I was so shocked that I left their booth quite disillusioned about these encoders... :(Best, ilmenator
