John Hetmond
hi ! I have a simple question. The fader and pots which are on the maximum should have 0 rezistance ? And when the faders and pots are on the minimum should have 10 K Ohm rezistance ? It's quite important couse i don't want to create a panel where my faders will be running upside-downThanks for all answers.J.Hetmond = ]
pay_c
This cannot be answered directly, cause the resistance depends on where you measure (you have three, not two pins on a pot/fader).With pots it´s alwasy like this (looking on the pot from *above*): O| | |1 2 3Pin 1 goes to ground, Pin 2 is the signal, Pin 3 is + 5V. This means if the resistance is measurend between Pin 1 and 2 it should be zero if turned all counter-clockwise and 10 k clockwise. Between Pin 2 and 3 it´s the opposite.Faders the same, just that they normally look like this (Pins are the same):3-|| || ||2-|| || ||1-||Resistance Pin 1 & 2 = 0 for fader turned downwards and 10 k for upwards.Greetz! Jidis
i don't want to create a panel where my faders will be running upside-downBeen there friend. 8)Rest assured, if you accidentally did, I was given a fix here which wasn't all that difficult (just a couple lines). Best to try not to do it in the first place anyway. ;DGeorge
