leaphion Posted March 22, 2007 Report Posted March 22, 2007 Hi, I've been dreaming about a MBSID of my own, and one day such will be mine.Something has crossed my mind though. There is some info about usage of external filters such as CEM3378 of the moog filter, but if I reckon correctly they're both low-pass filters. So, is there possible to get a high-pass filter to MBSID?Otherwise, thank you for TK for making such a great job with MB!
e-toy Posted March 22, 2007 Report Posted March 22, 2007 heya leaphionthe sid itself have a multimode filter, but if you want to use an external hp filter may check out the Korg sallen-key design. it was ben used on various Korg Synths (like the MS series and Mono/Poly)this filter can be configured as HP or LP and have normally 12dB/okt.
Jaicen Posted March 23, 2007 Report Posted March 23, 2007 I don't know about you guys, but I think the SID's own HP filter is just fine, even for the 6581, but as E-toy says, it's easy enough to make up a multi-mode filter.
