Goblinz Posted July 9, 2007 Report Posted July 9, 2007 Can anybody confirm whether these commodores contain a SID chip. I've been unable to get a definite answer about this when looking online. These computers seems to be going for a lot cheaper than what the commodore 64/128s do so could be a good way to keep the SID cost down. Thanks, Goblinz Quote
Goblinz Posted July 9, 2007 Author Report Posted July 9, 2007 Darn! I've been looking on ebay for old C64's and the cheapest I can find are around £20 including postage,,, the cost is going to soon add up as I'm looking at building the 12 SID synth mentioned on these boards. I'm thinking I'll just start with a measly 2 SID version and add the other SIDS as I can afford them. G Quote
MRE Posted July 9, 2007 Report Posted July 9, 2007 ya the Plus 4 was ment to be a business machine.. It had 4 applications built in.. it sold like a brick. Still.. it had a better version of basic, and could do some screen tricks.. but not at all a game machine. Quote
