stryd_one
The colour isn't the point of attraction in a PLED, it's the contrast ratio and the viewing angle. What BF has done, is what should be done with any display, be it a midibox, PC (CRT or LCD) or TV or whatever, first thing - set contrast about half way (probably defaults that way)turn the brightness up all the way (it'll be all washed out and yucky)turn the brightness down until the black is black, but no moreturn the contrast up to compensate for the loss off brightness in the chars.tweak to taste (any changes needed will be fairly obvious after you've seen it go)That gets the contrast as high as it'll go on whatever display you've got. Gives it a nice bright character on a nice dark background :)
