Breadboard, protoboard or veroboard for tactile switches

I am battling which type of board is best for mounting tactile switches. I am building the MBSEQ and wanted 6-7 inches wide X 3 inches to mount two rows of 8 tactile switches. So basically one board under one lcd and the other board under the other lcd. I plan to just panel mount the encoders. I thought veroboard is good but it is all that I've tried and that 6-7 x3 size is hard to find for me. Can anyone point me in the right direction for boards this size? Or larger as I can surely cut them.

well, this looks like one of the famous Breadboard/protoboard/veroboard discussions ;)

A breadboard is something like this:

you just use it for some prototyping.

What you need is a veroboard or a vectorboard:

Another important thing is the so called "Verowire"

with this thing you can connect points on your PCB very easily.

i decided to go with having a pcb manufactured for my seq switches.  for one, vectorboard is expensive enough that it's worth having the boards made.  also, the accuracy will be better.  i'll be using a very small spacing on the panel so the switches have to be lined up perfectly.

What are some recommendations for pcb creation? And where to go to get it made in ths US?

probably use eagle to design and maybe olimex for manufacturing.  i'm not a pro on this as i haven't had mine manufactured yet.
