fbrabson Posted February 8, 2008 Report Posted February 8, 2008 Hi all --I'm testing a few wall warts from my supply and finding that the voltages are reading significantly higher (9V wart is reading 11.8; 4.8v wart is reading 12.8, 3.7v wart is reading 8.7).Can anybody shed light on this? I've hacked off the connector ends so I can test various connections on a screw-down terminal block. Is is possible I took out resistors in the process? Thanks,Freddie
nILS Posted February 8, 2008 Report Posted February 8, 2008 Voltage drops as current rises - hook up some LEDs or something else to the adapter and voltage will most likely drop to the desired range.
fbrabson Posted February 8, 2008 Author Report Posted February 8, 2008 Thanks, nILS. Miles to go.... :)Freddie
