Hi all --

I'm testing a few wall warts from my supply and finding that the voltages are reading significantly higher (9V wart is reading 11.8; 4.8v wart is reading 12.8, 3.7v wart is reading 8.7).

Can anybody shed light on this?  I've hacked off the connector ends so I can test various connections on a screw-down terminal block.  Is is possible I took out resistors in the process?

Thanks,

Freddie

Voltage drops as current rises - hook up some LEDs or something else to the adapter and voltage will most likely drop to the desired range.
