Psykhaze 22 Posted September 16, 2016 (edited) Report Great illustration of revision difference . Maybe a 'twisted' pin could fill the 1.27mm gap pinout difference ? Edited September 16, 2016 by Psykhaze
Psykhaze 22 Posted September 16, 2016 (edited) Report He told previously about uploading problems with new forum. By the way old galleries don't show photos anymore,at least by my side Edited September 16, 2016 by Psykhaze
Antichambre 208 Posted September 16, 2016 Report Will be difficult because, headers on the core are too high no enough space to bend the pins. You can solder wires(I keep cutted resistor legs for that) on the pins which are used in your app. Think about the bootstrap pin too. But it's not a good solution, for the raison you can imagine. Fortunately Lextronic always have a stock of rev B.
Psykhaze 22 Posted September 16, 2016 Report Yea sure, was just a wondering. For reference here is current Lextronic Link : http://www.lextronic.fr/P19864-module-lpc1769-lpcxpresso-board.html
Antichambre 208 Posted September 16, 2016 Report Yes picture upload problem, sorry for that. no way to delete It too, no option except "édit details" in manage picture button. Seems I'm not the only one:
pilo 5 Posted September 17, 2016 Report Hi! It's possible to bend the pin to make them match the MBHP PCB, that's what I did. But I think it's better if you can get a rev B! You can find some pictures of my bending here : http://midibox.org/forums/topic/18552-lpc1769-rev-c-different-layout-than-rev-ab/?page=2#comment-167161 1
Antichambre 208 Posted September 17, 2016 Report Yep! you remove the plastic after solder, of course.
pilo 5 Posted September 18, 2016 Report Yes ;) Actually I noticed it didn't fit after I soldered the pin headers... So I removed the plastic, and bend the pins.
