  1. and ... I can find this option in the SID .. but not in the MB64e .... ???
  2. ok for this info TK .. I must be stupid but i cannot understand how to UL a sysex on a core id0x01 (burned as id0x00 but modifiyed by the change_id application) ... With Vmidibox64e, it works only with id00 ...
  3. No one tested with success MB_LINK ?
  4. ok .. found ... HERE
  5. sorry to pollute the Programming board ... :-[ it was a programming question .... then derivate to hardware ... Thanks TK for the inputs ....
  6. where did you get this "quote" ... I cannot find it ...
  7. I've notice strange behaviour on Vmidibox64e ... i try to UL a .syx in a core (MIOS v1.7 with MB64e 2.1 and standalone) which was burned as id00 and modified with the change_id application ... For this core, I can see id01 at startup. So it 's well id01 ! But if i set the id01 on the Vmidibox, and send the sysex , i don't have the answer of the pic ... the .syx is sent but no answer ... if i set to id0x00, it works fine ! the mb64e answer and the .syx is in the core ... any idea ?
  8. Do i have to use only one power supply for the 2 core ? Is it some jittering problem because of the shared ground ? In fact, i have jitter on analog faders when i link 2 core via J11 ( ground + midi ) which are not here when i test the core stand alone ... i have another strange issue with serge Vmidibox 64e ... check the Virtual MIDIbox & Editors forum ...
  9. i tested the MBLink ... I connected the first core (id00) to the second one (id01 without the opto-coupler ) by the J11 connector... I configured, via the Serge vmidibox64E, the 2 cores ... first one: MIDIbox link FP and Send PC on bank change .. Second one : MIDIbox link EP and Receive PC on bank change ... With this config, i have a terrible amount of CC on the midiout ... I tried to power the 2 core with separate power supply, also with only one power supply (on first core) and the J11 connector for the second core ... still a lot of CC .... I test the 2 core separatly : works fine ... no jitter ... no unexpected CC ... But when i plug the J11, the CC are back ! ???
  10. Can you say more about this ... ? I'm not sure to understand what you asked ....
  11. ok ... thanks a lot ! i'm gonna look in this direction ... but many people made midiboxes with more than one core , no ? Where are they ? ;D

  13. hum .. in fact .. unsolved ... it works 1 times ... and then .. still the same ... It works until i upload my config via Serge vmidibox64e ... ???
  14. ISSUE SOLVED ! On the CORE , R2 ( SD -> 5V ) was 10K instead of 1K !!! Replacing to the right value : 1K : works fine now ! Today proverb : ... if you've double checked your hardware ... triple check it ! ;)
  15. i modified the core , uploaded the MIOS v1.7 and tested it i check the voltage on the 24AA256: 5v ...but still the same issue ... startup : MIOS V1.7 © 2004 T.KLOSE then really quick : * LOADING SETUP * FROM BANKSTICK then * Formatting * Bank 1 during 5sec. then MIOS V1.7 © 2004 T.KLOSE then really quick : * LOADING SETUP * FROM BANKSTICK then * Formatting * Bank 1 and stay like that ... ???
  16. works really fine for my MB64e ! I didn't test yet the MERGER toogling issue ...
  17. ok ! If i understand well .. Only the Bank changes are transmitted ... with the current MIOS applications ... Did you allready write some code for other applications ? May be another midiboxer ? ;D thanx

  19. concerning the "How to connect 2 cores" ...with Midibox Link ... If i just connect my two core like: (without the center core ...) the bank changes on core 1 are transmitted to the sec. core ? Or do i have to change some code lines ? I mean : i understand what is in the control messages generated by the menu navigation ... (Display, bank changes ... ) but do i have to change something in the code of the receiver cores ?

  24. I got some strange issue ... I got a MB64e V2.1 (with Mios V1.6) and old bridge from SC to Pin 22 on the core ... The MB64e worked fine without the bankstick ... i tried to connect a 24AA256 ... and at startup, I only got this message : ' Formating Bankstick 1" .... during 10 sec aprox. then it re-boot and display the same message ... and stay like this hour and hour ... I allready double check the wiring and the soldering ... any idea ?
