  1. Hi Thorsten, the cables to the main board are approx 40cm long, and the pots are connected starlike. hmm, seems like i can't attach pictures on this forum. I'll look for some space where i can upload it.
  2. Sometimes the midi in led of the rm1x lights up... that means that a midi value has changed without even touching the midibox. This is annoying, especially with the sequencer! notes change from time to time. I checked the dynamic jitter filter, but doesn't really help. What should I do? Placing some caps?
  3. In the sequencer's combined mode, the first row of pots have a note-range of 10 octaves! In independent mode I can setup this myself, but is it possible to change this range in combined mode too?
  4. I get trouble with hanging notes with my rm1x with the midibox sequencer. 1) when I set the gate time too long (above 5 with bpm ~ 140, independent mode) 2) when i quit the sequencer menu or stop the sequence, one note doesn't go off. 3) sometimes, some notes just spontaneously hang by themselves.. maybe it's something with the midi buffer in the rm1x (it fills up with those note-ons w/o note-off). the suggestion i can give (referring to note 2): send from all the 16 notes in 1 sequence a note-off, when leaving the sequencer menu or stopping. With sending those 16 notes-off you are sure that no note will hang. What about this? Regards, TraiZor
  6. Hi Serge I had forgotten that Borland uses those T<component> -style also for their C++ builder, so I thought it was made in Delphi. Anyway, I only know Pascal and no C++. I've done very little c++ under linux (I did more bash-scripting), so I think I can't help you :-/ Anyway, good to hear that there's still progress from your side :)
  7. Oh, forget it about the question. The midi out port wasn't configured correctly ;D
  8. Nice program you have written, Serge :) Made with Delphi, isn't it. Maybe I can help when you need it, I've done much Delphi in the past :) Anyway, does this program handshakes with the MB64? I sent sysex to the MB, and the program counted down to zero. But the right config is not in the MB, so I think it didn't receive the sysex. Do I have to put the MB in a certain modus?
  9. my adaptor-plug doesn't fit anymore in the contra, because I soldered it for too long. hehe. ;D Tip for the new ones: don't solder the parts (metal chassis things too!) too long, especially LEDS.
  10. Any ingeneer here who can design a (cheap?) LFO extension with sync? (not in particular Thorsten :) ) I'm really interested in such a thing ;D

nee ik zit niet op clubcharts, wel op een hoop andere forums (of bedoel je niet dat forum?) over een week ofzo is mijn mb64 af ;D ik zal wat foto's plaatsen dan! 8)
  12. sounds really nice to me! But I have no synth which work with relative values or synths which send all their values, so it's not really suitable for me. And those motorized faders, do they work on the same protocol as the 16E? Maybe a nice idea: http://www.dave-berlin.com/spiders/18605.html
  13. I looked at the max038 and looks like a nice oscillator for me, but it also doesn't have a sync input. It does have sync out, but that's useless, isn't it? I'll google to some oscillator sites to find what i'm looking for, but it's hard to get something you want with limited knowledge.

heujj, nederlanders hier? ben benieuwd hoeveel ;D
  15. What's the real advantage of the 16E over a "normal" midicontroller, like MB64? Is it the relative values? What synthesizers do support those relative values? Is the 16E a pocket-dial controller from doepfer with ledrings, or are those two controllers really different?
  16. > RE: Syncable LFO-extension? >Unfortunately the ICL8038 doesn't come with a reset input, so the LFOs cannot be synchronized >Best Regards, Thorsten. That's pity. Are there any waveform generators (oscilators?) like the ICL8038 with reset input?
  17. Hi all nice looking forum ;D Is there something on this forum where you can see the latest 25 active subjects, no matter what category? maybe a suggestion. greetz, TraiZor
