  1. would some1 please look at what he have done and explain - in english - how it is built/possible ?!
  2. those were my thoughts too, but (although i dont understand a word of german) i have seen this done in the "midibox-plus-hardware-tutorial" by Heico . it is clearly seen on his backside of the box, and it is also seen in the explanation

  4. as i understand it only electrolytic capacitors need to have voltage measure on them, is that right ?? if so : - what voltage to the 2200uF El.Capacitor on the MIDIbox8 power supply ?? - what voltage to the 10uF El.Capacitor on the MIDIbox8 itself ??

  6. I have allready been there and seen that, but it shows that a connetcion have to be made to the PIC 25+26 pins >>> those are the SAME as the DIN !!! should they both (DIN + COM) be connected to the same place ?? that is two lines going to the PICs 25+26

  8. i want to add a COM interface to the existing DIN interface on the MIDIbox 8 >>> not replace,ADD ! how do i do this ???

  10. in the "power supply" scheme (MidiBox8) there is an el.-capacitor 470 uF, but on the "list of components" the same capacitor is 2200 uF. which one should it be ?

  14. i m a new-b, so pardon me if some stupid questions... - is the JDM is the easiest way to (DIY) program the PIC ? - in the order list of it there is a "8.2v Zener Diode" but at the scheme it is a 8.7v, which one should i use ?? plz keep it simple
  15. thank ya
  16. Listen dude ... i know (almost) nothing about electronics, not to speak bout microchips !!! so i understand i need the "Pic16F877-20/P", right ??? what is "20mhz crystal (parallel cut)" ??? and why not a "Pic16F877A" , isnt this an upgrade ??? a full answer would be nice, tnx
  17. it seems there are some of them PICs that you recommend : pic16f877-20/l..../p..../pq..../pt..../i/l....i/p....i/pq....i/pt !! so which is the one ???? and there seem to b also pic16f877a which 1 ???
