errr what? ???
I will post a picture tomorrow ;)

fantastic colors. I like this build alot!!

...let a couple of meters of thin 4 poles cable sticking out of the bottom of the shaft (need to drill a hole in the magnet).
4 poles jacks are the same length as 3 poles ones
LOL i know that. With too ling i ment the jack is attached to the bottom of the joystick shaft so the shaft gets longer and not the magnet has more travel
-
[
anyway what s wrong with the 4 poles jack?
It could make the shaft too long and then the magnet will get too far from the sensor on the edges

More people use their midiboxes commercially that TK knows of : so the awnser is yes

second link added. Sorry i forgot it.
Keep em commin guys some good ideas here.

Some of you know i am building an arcade cabinet.
Now i am struggiling with a concept i desperatly need to get working :D (it's not that my live depends on it though)
I would appreciate this more than a donation so let your brains work :D and i know you guys have some great idea's.
Oh and someone that is thinking along works in a machine shop so making thins should not be an issue but we preffer it not hehehe. It must be DIY'able.
Ok so we have the Ultimarc 360 Joysticks.
http://www.ultimarc.com/ultrastik_info.html
And we have transparent balltop's.
We need to cram 5mm rgb leds (3mm are unfindable) in the stick.
This is not the challenge.
The challenge is to get the wires connected not to twist while the stick rotates.
Bottom of the joystick shaft is a magnet attached that hovers above a pcb with a move sensor.
Because there is no fixation the shaft can rotate freely over it's axis.
Now as you can see in the second link someone has made a solution with a dc plug (very clever) but this provides us only 2 wires.
Now how can we solve this so that the wires wont get twisted whilst playing?
I allready found a 4 connector 2,5mm plug but i know there must be other ways.
I can make pictures if preffered of the joystick.
*Second link i forgot.... http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php?topic=82292.0

I have not mesured anything yet. But i might have found the issue. I think a crystal is shorting out. (time to insert the protectors and then look further.)
Thanks so far everyone i will update when i have adressed this issue.

Nope regulator does not get hot. Caps are all good posistioned. Led looks normal. Booting normal can even make a patch etc.
I will see if i have another psu laying around

Ok i am stupid as i cannot track what is wrong.
I finished my mb-sid llong time ago. However this is the first day i plugged it on power ;D
So when i leave it on press nothing it reboots out of nothing. And the time it does it is not consistent?
Is it my c64 power?
Still i have a feeling it's a shortage but where?
Point me in the right direction ;)
thx in advance

Hmm, as a new option, check out the (fully embeddable) Mibbit, it runs on AJAX. No Java, No Flash, just good ol' Javascript and XML ;D
We are not using IRC period!

I think we should find some people first who want to contribute to this project since I probably won't be able to manage all this by myself. If we split up tasks, it'd be easier to realise things in a faster way.
All i can provide is webspace and money.
But i guess that is not what you are looking for.

Welcome!!!
If you build a working version of this you will be my best friend!
This is something i am looking for a long time.
Can i excpect v0.01 next week :D:D:D:D:D
Thankx i hope something nice will come out of this.
