  1. Still have a few of these available.
  2. Been holding onto these for quite some time and I realize now I won't be doing much with them. NOS ICs not pulls. Purchased direct a loooong time ago and stored in static sensitive packs. MAX525BCPP $15ea MAX525ACPP $SOLD Shipping should be very cheap unless tracking is needed. PP Preferred will ship WW
  3. Got it working!!! Turns out there was an intermittent connection at J11...I apparently missed soldering a row on the header so the midi out wasn't making it back out. Thanks so much for helping Thorsten and Antonio!!!! I have one problem that I'm tracking down. The LFO waveform switch doesn't seem to be stepping through the waves. Maybe I'm missing something here. I need to read through the walk through a little more carefully. Thanks again guys!
  4. Thanks Thorsten, I had a chance to throughly check things tonight and gone through all the CORE testing. Everything seems to be in order with the exception of one test. There's 5.03V getting into the 5V supply line. I'm seeing 4.32V at the M- pin of J12A (midi out). I'm seeing this on the other side of the 220r resistor R8 and traced this back to J11 but I'm unsure why this is happening. I'm a little confused here. I can follow this voltage but I lose it after the bottom row of J11 and I don't see where this trace leads....I'm using the MB-6582_Base_PCB_Color pdf that I have to follow traces. I'm not sure exactly how to follow this voltage. Any ideas? Thanks! ken
  5. I'm having a bit of an issue with my build I recently completed. Please excuse the newbness...I'm a bit new to the digital realm of synths but plenty of years in analog circuitry. I finally took the dive into this project to accompany my expanding modular synth and it looks like I hit my first wall. Running MIOS on OS 10.8.4 with a MOTU Fastlane that doesn't seem to appear on the blacklist. PIC was purchased from Smash w/V1.9G and devID 0. I have all the other PICs pulled so I can get this thing tested. PSU is a linear Condor +5V/3A, 9V ~1.5A MIOS on launch scans the MIDI interface MIDI: Fastlane USB #3 Port B Scanning for MIDI Inputs... When I send a query it seems to contact the PIC because the LCD window shows [Rebooting MIOS] Then flashes the MIOS version and then shows [Ready] So far I've started on the debug page and nothing is really working except for MIDI is showing the loopback on TEST PC1 TEST MIDI1 Pass TEST MIDI2 Fails TEST OUT1-3 Fails TEST IN1A&B Good I need to continue with the other tests but I'm wondering if this maybe a problem with my MIDI interface before I continue. Thanks so much for any help.
  6. Me knerbs just landed in Houston! Thanks so much. I've been anticipating finishiing this build for quite some time. I'm expecting some little smd led boards to mount on the encoders to arrive any day then I'm finally fire up my MB6582 build.
  7. PMed cause I be locked out of the wiki...but I'd like to sign up for some DK16s
  8. Hello all, I have 4 of these and since I just finished another poly M-CV I don't think I'll be needing these... I have way too many projects. Bought them at the local parts house so make me an offer... Thanks, ken m.
  9. Hi, I'm a little new to this whole thing. but would it be easy to build a bank of switches that could send realtime messages to a different sequenmcer for start /stop info? ken
  10. Thanks RAF, I'll start building the modules for the floorboard shortly...and you are right I'm not much of a programmer. I'll let you guys know how things progress... Thanks everybone :)
  11. I'm trying to access a RS7000...I'm a synthesist/guitarist but I need to be able sometimes to start/stop sequences as well as tap tempo. I don't think MMC can handle tap tempo but I would like a footcontroller to start/stop sequnces as well as change sequences (which can be handled by MMC). So I was thinking the midibox would be the best way to go since I can tailor my setup. What do you guys think?
  12. Quick question can any of these projects send MMC? I want to build a flooboard to start/stop sequencers and such...Can this be done? ken
