  1. Hi! Would anyone here be interested in used, but refurbished Penny+Giles faders? Model PGF3210, 104 mm, 10k linear. http://www.pennyandgiles.com/products/products.asp?strAreaNo=402_6&intElement=1171 The latest quote for these (when new) in Sweden is about 705 Swedish Krona = 76.64126 Euro = 92.31494 US Dollar a piece so these are quality faders! How much do you think is a reasonable price for these? best regards /Daniel, Sweden

  3. The thing that cuts slots in metal by taking away a small piece at a time is called a "nibbler". Another way to cut slots in Al is to use a good CNC-machine, it should be possible with almost every machine with a sufficiently small milling-bit. /d
  4. Nice work! I have made something similar once, with an P+G fader, motor from a toy car and some rubber belts but i didn't find a sufficiently small motor that i could buy in any quantities? Where did you get yours? Regards /Daniel Araya, Sweden

    DIY CNC

I am in the process of building a CNC-machine for pcb-milling, drilling and front panel engraving. I have found an excellent free CNC-program at http://www.cncplayer.de./uk.htm There are many different ways to build a CNC-machine, some of them more expensive than others. Here is a site with less expensive designs http://www.luberth.com/cstep/ For very good (and more expensive) mechanical parts, check out the italian company http://www.ronchinimassimo.com/index.htm Regards /Daniel, Sweden
