yes, i checked all the wires and solderings, i think, that it already was working a few days ago. is it possible, that the PSU is defective, and isnt able to bring up all the power needed? and when i connect i to the midiout, it gets power from the pc? how do i check the Amps of the PSU ? do i have to clamp some resistor between + and - and then messure on + and - ? -zeh

hi list, my problem is that the midiboxSEQ v2 is completely working, but only if there is a device connected to the midi-OUT port :) if i disconnect the midiout, the display gets a bit darker and shows no MIOS anymore. if i reconnect the midiout port, the box reboots. any suggestions? thanks in advance -chris

nope, no specs :( they just send me 2 of those touchpads and information wich is also located at their website. i also tried to messure the resistance with my multimeter. if i touch it, there is a resistance wich increases when i move my finger into a direction.

Hi list, i found some interesting stuff on http://www.spectrasymbol.com/. i ordered the free samples for the x/y controller. 1 week later i got mail. a personal letter, and 2 touchpad like things. As an inexpensive and customized substitute for the traditional finger-actuated laptop mouse pad, the XY pad is used in varied applications. Though most companies can meet their position sensing needs with a one-directional sensor in the Soft Pot potentiometer, some demand dual-axis feed-back, and the XY Pad does just that. Based on resistive carbon technology, the XY Pad feels and acts like a mouse pad, giving an operator the ability to track position feedback according to the motion of his/her finger. The XY Pad produces two simultaneous and contiuously variable analog outputs. One output represents the X position and the other represents the Y position. hi thorsten, i have a simple question. in the changelog, you are talking about the A and B buttons, a) for song mode enter the song menu and press the button twice. Press the "A" button + one of the 16 GP buttons to select the song Press the "B" button + one of the 16 GP buttons to select the part which buttons are ment ? iam building a SEQ v2 right now, please help me, maybe i have to 'relayout' the paneldesign :) thanks -chris

OMG!! sie funktioniert !! ;-) hab die testfirmware drauf, ging wunderbar. dann die richtige firmware, und siehe da, es geht. ;) geil. das ding ist der hammer. habs testweise an eine mehr oder weniger defekte mc303 angeschlossen, und es geht ultra geil ab. ;-) vielen dank thorsten ;) mal sehen wann v2 soweit ist... -zeh

okay, das mit dem mute der steps ist klar, find ich zwar ein bischen komisch so, aber ok ;-) das mit dem clock ist auch so eine sache. wenn ich das ding am rechner anschliesse und reason starte, bekommt es zwar ein clock signal, aber ich sag mal es ist ... 'unregelmaessig'. also es kommt nie ein richtiger clock zu stande, er huepft nur zwischen 2 song positions rum, 998 und 1000 oder so in der art. da das ding ansonsten funktioniert bin ich ein wenig ratlos... ich werd wohl heute mal die midi-test firmware draufmachen und damit mal rumtesten. zumindest der midiclock sollte doch sauber rauskommen oder? vielen dank -chris

hi forum, hi thorsten, jetzt wo die midibox komplett, d.h. alle teile da und zusammengebaut sind, tut sich erneut ein problem auf. ich hab damals das rx/tx problem geloest, hab diversen kram im midiOX gesehen (vorher nichts), und dacht mir, jo, kommt was raus, passt. jetzt hab ich alle potis angeloetet und bin in die ausprobierphase gegangen. naja. das ding funktioniert so rein hardwaremaessig absolut astrein. alle potis gehen, das display geht, alles funktioniert. okay. jetzt hab ich mal midiox gestartet, den trackmode von allen tracks, ausser bei 1 auf 'off' gestellt, und mal diverse potis von track1 auf diverse werte eingestellt. der channel ist auf 1 assigned. ich hab bisher sogar schon geschafft eine sequenz (jedoch nur eine spur) zu erzeugen, jedoch kommen die note events aus channel ... 9 ??, und es kommt nicht immer ein event raus, nur bei diversen noten, zb bei C_3. es sieht irgendwie alles ziehmlich wuest aus was da rauskommt, zb sendet sie wenn kein step aktiv ist die ganze zeit ein STOP event raus oder sowas. der midi in monitor zeigt nur aktivitaet auf dem RX port, nicht auf irgendeinem channel 1-16. also entweder hab ich von midi einfach null ahnung (was auch der fall ist), oder das ding spinnt auf irgendeine art und weise... falls die antwort schon irgendwie vorhanden ist, und ich sie nicht gefunden hab, waer nett wenn mir einer sagt wo sie steht. vielen dank so long -chris

hi liste, hab da nochmal ne frage... meine midibox 64 seq ist jetzt soweit fertig und scheinbar auch funktionstuechtig. ich hab jedoch ein problem, im zb. Direction submenu, den track auszuwaehlen. in der anleitung steht das geht mit 'dem start/stop/select' button. ich hab einen start einen stop und einen select/mute button, jedoch tut sich da garnichts. muss man da evtl eine spezielle kombination druecken oder an reglern drehen? merci -zeh

exakt thorsten :) vielen dank. funktioniert bestens, schickt midi daten (hatte uebrigens tatsaechlich rx/tx vertauscht ;) jetz warte ich noch auf die pots, und hoff das es keine bugs mehr im ainx modul gibt. aber sieht schon ganz gut aus. -chris

hi, ich hab da noch ein sehr stranges problem. soweit funktioniert ja alles, bis auf die tatsache, das der taster nummer 11, immer zu flimmern anfaengt wenn ich in die naehe gehe. bin ich 10cm mit meiner hand weg, passiert nix, geh ich 5cm naeher, faengt er an, random an und aus zu schalten. ist das evtl ein masse problem? danke fuer jede hilfe, ich verstehs nicht. -chris
