Aber: Ich bin mir recht sicher, dass es an meinem MIDI-Interface liegt >:( Habe ein Emagic 6/2 Audio-Interface, bei dem der Digitale Ein-und Ausgang als MIDI IN / OUT umkonfiguriert werden kann...... und da scheint mir das Problem zu liegen,.... obwohl ich den neusten apple Treiber benutze ??? Hat das schonmal jemand gehabt? ( müsste ja beim emi 2/6 das gleiche Problem sein) pwx

Hallo Leute! Ich habe meinen MBSEQ fast fertig und schaffe es nicht mit meinem i-book und meinem emi6/2 die SEQ app via MIDI auf meinen PIC18.... zu laden >:( Habe wirklich schon alles ausprobiert und leider auch nicht das Geld, mir mal eben ein anderes MIDI-Interface zu kaufen :'( Wäre super nett, wenn mir jemand helfen könnte.... vielleicht gibt es ja einen netten Midiboxer der mir MIOS v1.8 und SEQv2 app. auf meinen PIC (hat Bootloader und im Moment MIOS 1.7 und SID 1.6 drauf) laden könnte..... :-\ Bin wirklich nicht zu faul...... nur frustriert..... :) Grüsse, PWX

Hi! I tried MIOS Studio for mac,... looks good but don´t work (with my Interface?).... I can´t monitor incoming MIDI and upload dos not work..... with SysEx Librarian, I can monitor incoming MIDI-events, but can´t upload via sysex.. hm... Core-Module is ok( I´ve tested it with my MBSID) PIC seems also be ok, because I´ve tried several PIC´s, even with MIOS right on it ( I can´t upload SEQ app. instead of SID app. ) unfortunally I´ve got not enough money to buy a new Interface ::) What to do next??? Hi All!! I´ve got my MBSEQ v2 half ready,... now I´ve got to upload MIOS and SEQ app. .........using an apple i-book G4 with OSX 10.3 ......and SysEx Librarian.... and emagic 6/2 Interface .... I´m not able to upload MIOS in the PIC (with bootloader) via MIDI >:( Anyone an idea ??? Thanx, pwx

Hi Thorsten! I´m using MIOS 1.7,..... :) but it´s really no problem,... I´ve got the same with my Fricke mfb synth 2 ..... one or two times in a whole year,.... and the same with MBSID,... so this should be a `normal` Hardware Problem,... ;D I don´t care about it....... , every hardware Synth has it´s own personallity :o But I´ll try MIOS v1.8 next week..... greets, pwx

hi! I´ve got a MBSID with minimal CS,.... and I have this problem only a few times... if I´m carefull and send only the MIDI-Data SID really needs, there´s no problem.... Perhaps it´s normal to have a MIDI-hang (sorry, don´t know the right word in English) sometimes..... I think it´s the same with some analog-synths,... sometimes..... Please tell me if I´m wrong!!! hope this helps,.. pwx :)

Hi! I don´t really know how easy it is to fry a crystal..... but I would build the core module and try if it works... if not, you can replace the crystral later :) greets, pwx

Hi! It´s ok to be carefull with high Voltages ;D I´m shure, you can find some shematics in the www.... but BE CAREFULL!! The external PC-PSU seems to be ok,..... but I don´t really know if it´s perfect.... perhaps it´s cheaper to build your own one..... look for different DIY PSU shematics or projects with google... sometimes you can find well documented projects,... but ask if your not shure what you´re doing, it´s DANGEROUS to work with high voltages.... sorry, not more at the moment..... Also ich glaube, an TX (pin25) sind nur 5V mit eingesetztem PIC und auch nur wenn nix gesendet wird.... hat mich auch schonmal ganzschön verwirrt ::) Ich glaube aber eigentlich nicht, dass dein PIC ganz tot ist...... mach erst das Troubleshooting..... am besten doppelt und dreifach... ;D und check alle Verbindungen und Lötstellen nochmal ??? Sonst vielleicht nochmal den Bootloader neu brennen....... Gruss, pwx

What´s about your voltages @ your core???( without PIC ;D ) Perhaps, you can get a second PIC.... and try it again ( perhaps you´ll built a new midibox project in future...) Sorry, no more ideas at the moment.... ::) greets, pwx

Habe mir nochmal das Soundfile von "Acid303" angehört...... und: Also SOOOOO LAUT ist das bei mir nicht,....... eben nur VIEL leiser im Hintergrund :-\ Mal abgesehen von den Störgeräuschen....... die ja auch recht laut sind..... Ist das bei mir dann vielleicht doch normal ??? pwx
