  1. "All the parts"? Only the MAX525BCPP is missing but that's enough for some real pain in the a**. It seems I have to order from a source with a lead time of 12 weeks to get the cheapest possible price which is still more expensive than my calculated price. I'm sooo happy when all this is over. It proves my decision that this is my last big groupbuy. In the future I will do only PCB groupbuys for my own PCBs at most.
  2. Don't have much time at the moment. I'm currently searching for a cheaper alternative.
  3. I've sent the current state in another round mail. Jaicen didn't pay until now so he is out! Another one (a german participant) has not paid by now and is also kicked out.
  4. The last pic looks like blue gold bars. ;) Big thanks. :)
  5. Bank transfer is AFAIK only worth inside the EU else the fees are higher than the paypal fees.
  6. Still waiting for money from 7 persons. It seems I can still use my paypal account. It's all a bit confusing so I write it in german: Die wollen das ich meinen Account hochstufe und damit einen gewerblichen Account habe. Dazu wollen die meine Steuernummer und so Krams. Hab ich aber alles nicht.
  7. There is the problem: I don't solder that much and don't have time and desire to solder more.
  8. Well, not everything what they want from me seems to make sense. In my eyes they want too much private information and I don't trust eBay/Paypal in that.
  9. 1. It's SMD 2. It's SMD 3. I didn't design the PCB 4. The groupbuy already runs (this comment comes a bit late)
  10. Paypal is currently a problem as I've got too much money (over 1000 Euro) this year via Paypal. They wrote something about a money laundering law and now my account is somehow closed. It seems it was not that a good idea to include the chips in this groupbuy. :(
  11. Invoices are out now. I contacted diablojoy who is 2nd on the waiting list. There are good chances for the other ones to because there are still people who gave no feedback for weeks.
  12. I still need feedback from: Doug Wellington Jaicen snykehd
  13. I have dropped the first round mail. If someone on the list didn't get it, please let me know.
  14. This is closed, but nothing happened by now and there is a waiting list. It will soon be started and maybe someone jumps off because of the long delay. We'll see. There is a change in the process: I will only order PICs if EVERY participant wants them because I don't want to take the risk that I'll stay down with these and I don't have the money to pay for leftovers. So if someone definately is not wanting PICs either another one needs to order that much more or no one will get PICs with this order. Would be a shame because the PICs were basically the reason for the big delay.
  15. It is delayed because I currently don't have the time and the money for it. I can't name a starting date but surely not this month.
  16. I think I can get this in an envelope which should be 8 Euro at maximum (outside EU) + the costs of the envelope (small envelope is 0,25 Euro, a big one 0,50 Euro). + 2,05 Euro if tracking is wanted + 1 Euro for insurance up to 100 Euro (2 Euro for 100-200 Euro and so on).
  17. I'm sorry, but the sets are now all spoken for. I can set you on the waiting list at the second place, if you wish.
  18. Well there is no cheaper way to get a MIDIbox CV with AOUT anyway but maybe not so many people need a MIDIbox CV. I don't want want to run this as a never-ending story and I need a MIDIbox CV soon for myself so there is no way to extend the deadline.
  19. 34 sets left and 10 days to go. Let's see if this groupbuy will happen.
  20. suital buyed a prototype and tested it. Here is the answer for the other question: No, because of the packaging units I mentioned.
  21. I've made a new thread for discussion & information: http://www.midibox.org/forum/index.php/topic,11656.0.html Now I didn't had the time to investigate on the PICs. :( From now on please only post orders here.
  22. This is the thread to ask questions about the MIDIbox CV PCB from suital to keep the bulk order thread clean. Here is a picture of the PCB: It consists of 1 CORE & 1 AOUT & 1 DINX1 & 1 bankstick on 1 PCB. All connections for the MIDIbox CV application are directly routed and therefore there is no header for these on the PCB. (CORE J10 -> AOUT J1 / CORE J9 -> DINX1 J1 / CORE J4 -> Bankstick) Power connections are for +/- 15 V or +/- 12 V (makes no difference according to suital) in Dotcom or MOTM style. You can generate the + 5 V for the digital part from V+ or a different source (Jumpers/Headers are there for both solutions). The PCB is 130 mm x 80.3 mm big. The first question comes from madox: Now you are confusing me. There are not that much options for the the MIDIbox CV. ??? The following CORE headers are on the PCB: J2 (for + 5 V) J7 J14 J15 (for the LCD) J12 & J13 marked as OUT and IN (MIDI) The following AOUT headers are on the PCB: The 2 unnamed ones with 2 x 4 pins (I think they are for the balanced out option) The following DINX1 headers are on the PCB: J3 marked as "J4" (for the buttons or buttons + encoder) Yes, in this PCB you don't have to use a MAX6007B. The alternative is: LM385-Z2,5 (Reichelt order number). See http://www.midibox.org/forum/index.php/topic,4026.msg26638.html#msg26638 (sorry, it's in german) The LM385 is the TO92 case right from the MAX6007B on the picture. Of course you should not solder both! ;) The documentation can be found here: http://www.sdiy.de/de/projects/midiboxcv.html
  23. It is not my board design: As prototype PCBs already have been made any further change would require a new prototype PCB and someone who is willing and has the the time to re-design the PCB + new stuffing and testing of the prototype. And 32 new resistors and 8 new trimmers will have to be placed somewhere which means a bigger PCB which is more expensive + I have to charge the costs of the prototype PCB (prototypes are expensive). In my eyes an external solution or modification would therefore be better if you need negative CV values. Personally I currently won't need that and I would not be happy with a further delay of this project because I need the MIDIbox CV soon.
  24. I've added a picture. TK has made a suggestion to include the PIC in the kit (he would then burn the PICs and send them to me). I have to think about that because I don't have enough "IC sticks" (I hope this is the correct translation of "IC-Stangen"). Anyway I think a Safeshield box (from Warmbier) would be best. Would only add ca. 0,6 Euro to the costs of each PIC but you can re-use it at home or use it to store the PIC. Here is a picture of the safeshield boxes I mean: But I have to investigate deeper at home.
  25. It is basically CORE & AOUT on one PCB. I can post a picture maybe in two days (previously I won't have the time). No, because of the packaging units I mentioned.
