Hi FantomXR
I'm trying to understand, what would be the easiest way to connect around 70 RGB LEDs (so around 210 single LEDs).Here is one example:

http://www.midibox.org/dokuwiki/doku.php?id=what_is_a_midibox
Die verschiedenen Module einer MidiBox:
http://www.midibox.org/dokuwiki/doku.php?id=mbhp
Infos zu den Bauteilen und Zubehör:
http://www.midibox.org/dokuwiki/doku.php?id=parts
Was ist eine MidiBox NG:
http://ucapps.de/midibox_ng.html

MidiboxNG - http://ucapps.de/midibox_ng_manual.html -> Abschnitt Hardware Options
Midio128v3 - http://ucapps.de/midio128.html

Hi again,
the same behavior occurs in MIOS studio when using the receive buffer button.

Hi,
i am using CTRLR 1209 and noticed the following issue:
After hitting the CTRLR receive button and changing the instrument's patch via datawheel afterwards,
then the instrument bank allways switches to bank A.
Is this normal?

Hi again,
Hi Marxon,thanks for your input.
I thought I had a viable explanation for how the 256 patterns were organised: 4*64=256
On the Grp. Save Pattern page the "to Target" can have values 1:A1 to 1:H8 to 2:A1 to 2:H8 etc, to 4:H8
That would be the 256 patterns?
-Confirmed
Now in the "Pattern Screen" part of the manual it says there is lowercase designators a..h providing another 64 patterns, though I can't activate them by pressing the left GP buttons twice. It also talks about accessing Bankstick which seems a bit old.-me to, lowercase letters are not available.
I did not tested this before :(
EDITStill not clear....I think you can copy (the pattern contents) material from one track group to another?
-OK i did not express myself very well. Not single tracks can be shared but "set of tracks" for example
from Group 4, Track 13-16
into Group 1, Track 1-4
This can be done with encoder 3, 7, 11, 15.
So "categories" = "banks"... little bit confusing
-
Hi Duggle,
your statements are not completely correct.
From the manual:
"...a session stores 256 patterns, 128 mixer maps, 64 songs!..."
and
"A single session contains:
MBSEQ_B1.V4 .. MBSEQ_B4.V4: four banks. Each bank stores 64 patterns and is usually assigned to the appr. track group G1..G4, but can also be shared between the groups"
Each group has it's own set of patterns (A1..H8)-Patterns can be shared between tracks
-they are enumerated from A1-H8 and a1-h8
Marxon
EDIT:
Stop... Now I am also confused:
A1-h8 = 2*64 = 128 Patterns
So are there 128 or 256 Patterns available?
-
New manuals available!
See first post.

Hi Lukas!
Did you check if your LED polarity is wrong?
-
Please check again every connection between Core-Opl modules.
->PIC pins to the corresponding to YMF pins
Also cross check every pin next to each other to be sure there is now short circuit.
How do your power your FM synth?
I had similar problems because of a faulty PSU.

Hi tashikoma,
have you tried the FM-testtone application?

OK Thank you!

Hi Peter,

Perfect!

Hi Duggle,
unfortunately i get a "non valid image" error when i click on your matrix schematic from the first post.
Would you please post it again?
Thanks a lot!

hi ronde,

Hi mburch,
you are right, it is possible via button matrix,
but I forgot to mention, that i like to control them via midi.

One last try from my side:
If it still does not work, do not despair, master TK can help for sure.

I guess you double checked your header solderings, allready?

Firmware changes
in MIDIbox SEQ
Posted
Hi MidiBoxers!
Is it difficult to edit the MIDIbox SEQ V4 firmware,
to add custom button shortcuts?
Would this be possible for a MIOS32 programming beginner?
Best regards
