Just to let people know that my midibox sid panel is working fine in the standalone on mountain lion with the latest ctrlr build. Still having a few problems with loading the vst version though.

I'm keen if anything is happening. Happy to be patient and wait it out however long it takes. The last few years of MIDIbox'ing have gotten away on me.

I haven't been to check this lately so your mileage may vary. But be sure to check your local hardware stores supply of cheap cordless drills, you might have luck and get a power supply. This problem was infuriating me as I was even told at one point its legally impossible to get linear power supplies into NZ anymore. Fortunately I happened to spy a friends el cheapo Dick Smith Cordless drill had a nice NZ made HFA, 1Amp Linear Power Supply, (tip +ve which I'll eventually change) swapped him for a spare switchmode and presto happy sammichSID. And cheers Wilba again for the amazing kit. Need to post about two minor cosmetic problems I've caused and getting midibox Sid Editor working in Tiger but otherwise I've been really digging playing the sammichSID over the last month! Also another random tip people probably already know. Insert leads make a great stereo out cable for people who hate adapters!

argg you're right :'( this is not going to be practical to apply to more than one or two pots. maybe I should move this to design concepts. I'm a real n00b but finding a way to use this much loved feature would make me very happy. Tried hunting round an ea1 pcb but my chip spotting is hopeless... doh if only I wasn't so new to this.

Sorry to dig up an old topic. I'm building one of these and its great. Was just wondering there is a midi equivalent/implementation that I could use were I to build a midibox. I use midi motion sequencing a lot with an old korg groovebox but the midi transfer responsiveness is pretty rubbish. Suggestions?
