Hi everybody! I'm from Italy so sorry for my bad english.. ;) I hope this is the right section to post. I did some search on this forum but I can't find an aswer for my question. I don't have any experiences with MIDI. I'd like to build a switching system for my guitar setup. I use almost analog pedals, so I'd like to rackmount these pedals and to control them activating/disactivating, remotely. Basically I want to build something like these: the looper: http://www.voodoolab.com/gcx.htm the floorboard: http://www.voodoolab.com/gcontrolpro.htm A rackmounted looper, with loops where I connect all the pedals and other units, and a floorboard that control this looper remotely and let me choose which loop is active and which is not active.. Then this floorboard should have 2 using mode: the first is the one I said (every footswitch active-disactive its corresponding loop, with a led for every loop), the second let me choose presets instead of loops (every footswitch recall a preset, every preset is a combination of activated/disactivated loops, and recall also presets from MIDI units, such as Korg A3 or Whammy, for example, with buttons for bank up, bank down, etc). I think the second mode is a sort of program change.. Maybe the infos on voodoolab site that I linked could explain better than me.. How can do that? I don't have problem with soldering, etching PCB, etc.. So the hardware should not be a problem.. What modules should I build? How many presets and loops would I got (voodolab has 8 loops)? thanks so much! Dimitri
