  1. I have made USB-PIC module, somewhere should be board file. Anyway, I have put Eagle SCH file on forum. Somebody said can make a good PCB file, anyway mine is working.
  2. Here You go, check for mistakes. Should be fine, but don't know if all nominals are good, because I like clone button :) USB_PIC.rar USB_PIC.rar
  3. I have made eagle SCH and PCB for 4550 if needed. Seems like working. P.S. I'm not a pro in engineering, so maybe anyone could make single sided PCB from schematic?
  4. Firstly asked, then found it myself next day :) Anyway, the topic can be kept for future searches.
  5. Why I have to use workaround if I have a lot of hard drives? :) I found exact steppers I need in Fujitsu 20GB HDD manufactured in 2001-04. Model: MPG3204AT. I think all models MPG310xxx - MPG340xxx from 10GB to 40GB have the same motor :)
  6. Hello, I'm trying to make rotary encoder for scratch wheel using HDD motor. I`ve taken Maxtor Diamondmax 60GB IDE HDD, but the motor inside was mounted without any screws, just hardly pushed into the metal. Maybe anyone could suggest where I can find normally mounted steppers?
  7. Interesting, I will check it out :) Maybe I could port it to AT91 system with embedded linux inside :)
  8. Actually, I am working with AT91 ARM systems, was thinking about making core module on ARM, but all sources for PIC is in ASM which I don't understand. I need the code written in C to port to avr or arm :)
  9. Be sure to show us your project finished, because core module with USB instead of MIDI would be MUCH MUCH better. Especially for laptops. Also You can make audio output using PCM2906 from USB, one USB for complete mixer.
