It increases, but only the 5v. the faders are supplied with the 12v The LM got a heater and the maximum current is only 1.145(as my multimeter says) The strange thing is, the 12V and 5V come from seperate PSU(ground are switched together). The faders need the 12V, but when they move, something is going on with the 5V(voltage increase) and so the rest of the LC(displays, etc.) But how could that be? anyway, thanks for helping me. It's maybe one of the best forums in the world(and maybe the best DIY project)

thanks, no, the voltage doeen't brake down. My PSU got 300W. The strange thing is, that the voltage of the 5v output increase about 0.4v

Hello again, I need your help. Today, when i was engaged with the LCD-display, i noticed that if every fader is moving the display will get darker. Then I've detected the voltage of the 12v an 5v during the faders are moving. And, the strange thing is, that the 5v supply gets a higher voltage(about 5.4) when the faders are moving. What can that be? And, I've still got the problem that the LCD only show that ----====XXXXLogic Emulation ReadyXXXX====---- Any ideas? Thanks!! greetings

Hallo SMD ICs lassen sich aber auch noch ganz normal löten: -lötkolben auf 450° -lötspitze an ein Beinchen halten und sofort das lötzinn dran -möglichst schnell -wenn es brücken gibt = entlötlitze geht bei SO-16 SO-28 viel schneller als mit Flussmittel oder Löthonig/paste. Erst wenns richtig klein wird, lohnt sich es, meiner Meinung nach. Grüße

Hallo danke für die Antworten. Spulen in den Zuleitungen bringen leider auch nichts. Ich hab im Keller noch ein Schaltnetzteil gefunden und dieses doch gleich mal angeschlossen. Zuerst dachte ich, dass alles gut funktioniert, doch leider "jittern" die Fader jetzt auf einmal. Jetzt werde ich morgen mal ein paar Kondensatoren und Elkos einlöten. Irgendwelche Ideen? Grüße

Hallo, danke! Also ein Kurzschluss kann es ja wohl schlecht sein, da es ja, wenn man den Core und das MF-Modul nacheinander ranhängt, alles wunderbar funktioniert. Sicherungen sind auch drin. Die Meanwell Teile kenn ich. Sollte niemandem mehr was einfallen zu dem Pollin Netzteil, werd ich mir wohl dort eins bestellen(gewerbeschein ist kein problem) Gruß

Für meine Midibox-LC habe ich bei Pollin folgendes Netzteil bestellt: http://www.pollin.de/shop/detail.php?pg=OA==&a=OTcyOTQ2OTk=&w=Njk1OTc5&ts=0 Beim Einschalten will das aber nicht so richtig. Es macht "klackklackklack"(hoch frequentiert), warscheinlich von einem Relais. Zuerst dachte ich, dass eine zu geringe Last an dem Netzteil hängt. Doch wenn ich z.B. nur eine Low Current LED hinhänge, funktioniert es wunderbar. Wenn ich jedoch zuerst den Core und dann das MF-Modul anschließe, funktioniert alles wunderbar. Hat jemand eine Ahnung, woran dies liegen könnte? Vielen Dank Grüße

Hallo bei mir habe ich genau das gleiche Problem(overrun error und diese hochfrequentierten midi in signale), selbes Interface, Troubleshooting schon komplett durch. Welches USB-Interface vom Thomann funktioniert denn? dieses? http://www.thomann.de/de/emu_xmidi_1x1.htm (steht zwar nicht auf der Blacklist, aber bei so billig Teile weiß man ja nie) edit: habe gerade im Forum gelesen, dass jemand auch mit dem emu xmidi 1x1 probleme hat. jetzt bleibt noch die Frage, was ich für ein Interface nutzen kann. Hello together First, to my person, I'm Danny, coming from Germany(Baden-Württemberg), playing piano and guitar and my new hobby is recording. But I hate controling the DAW with a mouse. Foremost, I thought, I must buy one of these very expensive DAW-Controlers, but than, I found your very interesting projects. They're really nice! Good job!! So, I decided to build a Midibox LC, but I've got some questions: As far as I know one Core(with the LC application) can only handle 8 motorfaders, but I want to have 9(8 chanels, one for the master). And for only one extra fader, I don't want to build a extra Core(costs). Is there a way? The Midibox 64 for example, can handle 64 analog inputs or fail it due to the performance of the PIC? If all else fails, can I have only 7 chanel fader and one for the master?(leaving out the whole "chanelstrip" for that master chanel, including the encoder and the buttons.) Furthermore I wanted to ask, what do you think about a new Alps motorfader bulk order? Thanks ahed With best regards Danny
