  1. MB-LRE8x2CS adopted (if anybody see any objection). Regards.
  2. I slightly modified the design of the board. The revision is now 2.4 and the improvements are: Cap C5 positioning near "IN" DIL header. Silkscreen improvements. I've named the board "MB-2X8LRE-CS" trying to respect more or less the Midibox naming. "MB" stand for Midibox. "2X8" because 2 rows of 8 columns (maybe one day there will have 2X4 or 1X8 board). "LRE" stand for LedRings Encoders. "CS" stand for Control Surface. I would like to have your feedback about it and waiting your suggestions. Regards.
  3. ...Mouser just confirmed the date of the December 5th 2012. Regards.
  4. It is the date indicated in their site. Thank you for the information: I sent to Mouser an email to confirm this shipping date and wait their answer. Regards.

  6. Bad news: Mouser do not stock enough SIL resistor networks. Mouser estimate to receive the new stocks for the December 5th 2012. I propose to modify the time-frame accordingly: Bulk order start: October 29th 2012. End of the list: November 18th 2012. I PM (or email) member with the total amount to pay: November 18th - 20th 2012. Payments will be accepted until November 25th 2012. I order the PCBs and the Mouser order: November 26th 2012. PCBs order arrive near the December 5th 2012. Mouser order arrive near the December 12th 2012. I ship the PCBs and Mouser components to each member: December 13th - 15th 2012. This time frame may be subject to change due to unforeseeable events. I'm waiting your feedback about this new time-frame to update the Wikipage. Regards, Jerome.
  7. To be more precise: 150 units: 8,50€. 200 units: 8,00€. Regards.
  8. I haven't asked to my manufacturer but unfortunately after 100 units the price drop but not as much as before 100s, and more you order more the drop is decreasing. Anyway I think that 9€ is a very good price for that sized PCB! We can hope a slightly drop with the reach of 150s but it should be not so important. Regards.
  9. 103 units already ordered so the new price is now 9 € each board  The Wiki page is updated. Regards.
  10. 100% agree with you, and it won't happen. I'm ready to buy 10 (maybe 20) extra boards - at least to reach the 100 units - and I'm confident some members still will join us and won't let pass this bargain! Regards.
  11. Thank you LyleHaze. ...you remind me that I should integrate a clause for my birthday :flowers:
  12. If you have problems to fill the wiki page, email or PM me. Regards.
  13. ...when we will reach 100 units the PCB will drop to 9€. Regards.
  14. Thank you Francois. We will reach in any case the 100 units, if necessary I would buy a few extra boards for latecomers but I'm confident more members will participate to this bulk order. Regards.
  15. Un petit dessin pour vous donnez envie...
  16. Hi. The price of the 10k SIL resistor network is now 0,085€ (>500 units). ...Waiting for the 100s PCBs. Regards.
  17. ...I spoke about the metal hole not the acrylic hole for the shaft. Regards.
  18. It will be not exactly hole but "D hole", isn't it?. Will you plan to use the same method than the MBseq frame with recess? Maybe an another method to test would be to make hold the acrylic frame with the nut of the encoder with another nut underneath. We can imagine a lot of nice things to do but the problem with metal panel is the price. Regards.
  19. This is a poorly quality video only to see only what you can expect: Regards.
  20. We have hit the 65€ in your Mouser basket so that the order can take place. Regards.
  21. Frontpanel ? I would like to share informations I found about the frontpanel I plan to use for my own project. With the number of LEDs of the board(s) maybe it will be useful for someone. It's acrylic panel manufactured by Formulor. It's a German cousin of the famous Ponoko. I will use their medium grey (transparent) which is in fact the Evonik acrylic GS Grey 7C83 GT already used in Shruthi cases under the name of "Neuropa grey". You can find pictures (mutable-instruments/fcd72 copyrighted) here and here. I have asked Formulor the question about tranparency in case of using red LEDs bargraphs and they are confident that we will see each LEDs distinctly because the transparency is 21%. You can check this pictures in case of use of green LEDs: Picture 1. Picture 2. Picture 3. Picture 4. Regards, Jerome.
