Yo, in case i did not mention it during the last months: the MIDIbox sequencer is awesome! It allows you to flee reality (baby teething worries) for as little as half an hour and have fun, without pushing a mouse, without staring into a computer screen or getting involved in operating system updates at unpleasant times :-). It just works out of the box, the MIDI timing is way better than that of a multi-GHz multicore computer and everyone is happy with as little as 128kb ram (in the older cores)! :-) This one contains a few fun samples from an old car information system - 1980s era - and reminds me of childhood - i especially love the modulation on the "door is *open*" sample :-). Yes, bash it, hate it, do whatever, but thanks for watching and listening ;-). Have a great evening! Peter

Hola, long time no other music posts here, sorry for spamming the forum, I hope you post some other music soon, before I get banned! ;-) Anyways, had a small live session last night, featuring the fantastic MBSEQ V4 (can´t wait for the mbseqv4 plus model, yeah, more notes per track!). For me, this workflow is fantastic, impossible to do this in software with any DAW (tried some), so many thanks to TK., who made all of this possible! Also many thanks to J, who constantly provides me with new hardware recommendations, for example the DIY Polivoks filter was his tip - and it is a blast (easy to build, cheap and sounds fantastic, e.g. on basslines or on the SID sounds)! Well now, enough talk, thanks for listening and watching, hope you enjoy the summer! Many greets, Peter

Hola, it has been a busy year already, but finally found the time to hit the keys, this time focussing on the Alesis Andromeda (only accompanied by the FS1R and the Machinedrum) - copter footage filmed in Fuerteventura - hope you enjoy! :-) http://youtu.be/V_fToovFZ_Q Thanks for watching, listening and your comments! :-) Many greets, Peter

hi there, this made a long time I didn't come here. I'm the guy who made the protodeck controller a long time ago: http://julienbayle.net/works/creation/protodeck-midi-controller-for-ableton-live I have to say I finally didn't use it a lot all along my live sets travel and experiences. And I played a lot, but I'd finally use very much simple stuff. Now, I'd really like to make a pots only device. Requirements would be: - 60 pots with a couple of buttons (no more than 5) - pots would be illuminated to easily make "block of pots" with colors - pots would be screwable on the faceplate - only USB for data + power would be a dream. I have a couple of questions: - should I follow the LPC17 way ? - for my box, is there a new service on the web for making the whole stuff easily using template for instance ? - for about to 60 pots (illuminated by led) would the usb power supply enough ? (I guess no. but are there pots to try to find out in order to reduce consumption?) - any ideas about nice illuminated pots ? I would design this not because I want to make a proof of concept but because I need it on stage. drehbank stuff was nice, I just cannot find one and I need USB stuff instead of DIN, anyway. I mean, if I know the technology behind this, I need to build it in next month without loosing too much time (this is why I would be happy to use template for the box design) ANY ideas or advices would be appreciated :)
