wackazong Posted February 16, 2008 Report Posted February 16, 2008 Hi!I was just wondering when I got up today: Isn't there a shift register like the 74HC165 available that has internal pull-up registers? Would make my life much easier right now.ALEXander. Quote
Rednas Posted March 3, 2008 Report Posted March 3, 2008 I just added 36 resistors to my first DIN module. Would be easier if I didn't have to do that :) Quote
stryd_one Posted March 4, 2008 Report Posted March 4, 2008 Rednas: You don't - use SIL resistor packs like smashtv suppliesBoth: Built-in resistors would be impractical because the value of the resistors would vary from one design to the next. IE, what works for midibox, might not work for behringer....So, they're not built that way. Quote
/tilted/ Posted March 4, 2008 Report Posted March 4, 2008 ...or the design might call for pull-down resistors... Quote
wackazong Posted March 4, 2008 Author Report Posted March 4, 2008 Ok, so to narrow down my question: If I have a design which requires the standard 10k Pull-Up resistors that are used in the standard DIN design, is there a shift register with integrated pull-up registors that I could use?Best, ALEXander.
