For "as new" & tested chips wilba is the best person around to buy from.

BUt if youre after the older sids, the likes of the 6581s, which have a different sound then you could pick a few up off the market.

theres different revisions of the 6581s, some say they are warmer, and have different filter sound.

But the 8580s have a very "clean" sound.

Remember that the filters in these older chips have a higher chance of being broken than the 8580s/6582A's.

No thanks man, did the same thing you did.  And thank you everyone else, I am just so excited and I am still exploring the website so I still haven't found everything yet.
