jeroddumas
can a small midibox application be built using the 16f874 and MBHP. I would like to use the midibox 64 firmware, I will use 16 pots and 10 buttons. I would just like to reuse the 16f from my midibox plus. And i feel that it would be a waste to use a 18f for this small of an application. Can anyone help with this question?
Steven_C
yes, there was an early firmware release for midibox 64, that was very basic. It lacks a lot of useful features (no bankstick, no snap mode (like soft takeover) and I think later versions had better jitter rejection. This release also used an older circuit, and the documentation was different. (not on the website anymore.... look in the archive.) I really don't see any reason to go for this, as what extra feature does this have over your mb16+?
