My Project

Hi there,

At first I would like to apologize for my bad English.

Im new to this forum so please be patient with me ;-)

Here is my project:

I got a analog mixing console and I would like to modify it. Its really annoying, that I always have to label the channels ("Basedrum", "Snare", etc..). It would be much better, if the console could show the names from Cubase or Logic on an LCD display.

Is it possible to bild something like that? I would need an LCD on each channel (64 total) and it would be great if they would show the names from the software without progrimming it new every time.

Thanks so much. With kind regards. Timo

why not goin to an MB-LC project? you will be able to see 8 track names at the same time, and you can build something with just the two bank up/down butons and the LCDs.. if I remind well , there is a project like this (some kind of "bargraph" format) around here..

Thanks, I will check it out.

I forgot to mention the second question:

The following setting: (for example for) a compressor with the typical parameters (Treshold, Ratio, Attack, Release, Makeup,..)

For every parameter one rotary potentiometer and 4 further potis for special functions.

Now I want the programm to recognize when i open a compressor plugin. It should sent the plugin information to that potis so that I can edit it easily.

If possible I would like to built the same setting for eq, limiter,...
