Core module restarts

Hi

I've problem with my core module.

It runs midibox sid v2 software on PIC18F4685.

It restarts after "Launching CS" (Counter Strike? ^^) screen.

Have anyone got any idea?

Launching CS = lighting some LEDs = more power consumption. Your PSU might be to weak. What (kind of) PSU are you using?

What the "CS" is?

I've no LEDs connected, and have disconnected SID board.

I'm using Commodore one, which provides 1.7A at 5V and 1A at 9V.

It's possible, that I've somewhere short circuit, so It would be nice to know what happens in this moment, which pins and connectors are being probed/changed.

Sounds like a BOR...  Have you disconnected everything so it's just the core you're working on? No DIN/DOUT/etc?

Yes, there is only LCD connected. 3rd board from video (double sid) is disconnected. I'll check traces tomorrow, because It's midnight in Poland and I don't think to clear. What is being initialised after control surface?

First I'd put the latest RC on there.... What if you disconnect the LCD? You'll know if it reboots because it'll send midi messages.... But yeh, I'd look for shorts...
