Anthony Q
Hi,I decided to start with my SEQ, ordered PCB's at SmashTV, this went smooth etc...Now I'm designing how it should look:I have a large number of old Shadow or Digitast switches, that I had to DESOLDER from double sided boards. Those came from old conference equipment, I have a lot of those but they're not easy to desolder :( placed on a board they look like this:Then I ordered some ultrabright red smd leds (3.2 mm wide !) These are to come on each switch:I also have these nice 3-part caps I haven't seen elsewhere...I'm going to put a small piece (1 cm2) of opaque film and a piece of red foil in each cap, so the leds shine "softer".This is how it's going to look:I realise that I'll have A LOT of work on these switches but the result will be a very compact "keyboard" for my seq....to be continued :Pgreetings,Anthony
nILS
Hmmm, nice switches. Desoldering DS boards does suck a lot though! Hang in there ;)
