jamie3 Posted July 15, 2008 Report Posted July 15, 2008 The documentation says to ground the unused pins not connected to the AIN module when a 4501 and the pots are missing. My question is, if the 4501 is connected but no pots are, do the unused pins still need to be grounded?jamie
jamie3 Posted July 15, 2008 Author Report Posted July 15, 2008 Search for AUAIMBCTG :-)i was looking at the schematic however it stated ground the pins only if you leave out a 4501.i have 4x4501s mounted onto the PCB, however for testing I am only going to use one of them, hence why i asked if they still need to be grounded.;)
cimo Posted July 15, 2008 Report Posted July 15, 2008 remember that often sometime it is easier to disable pins on the software
