slumgud
Quick question. I think a busted diode on my core is the reason I cant recieve midi to the core. its D1... on the schematic it says 1N4148... i dont have such parts here, but i have managed to desolder a diode from the c64 circuitboard. it says ZP 03 VO... can i use it on the core? ??? cimo
Hiit s hard to say, but 1N4148 are among the most common parts, so if you have some scrap electronic trash you could probably find one, where do you live? I can ship you a couple of 4148s tomorrow.npSimone
slumgud
hey, thanks for the offer! After some research (ucapps chat:) I discovered that there are several on the c64 motherboard, so I desoldered one from that. Didnt solve the problem, though :(
nILS
Yep, thought so, diodes are virtually indestructable - chances that you blew one are slim. As said before - do the MIDI Troubleshooting and tell us the results.
