(TK,nILS,Wilba,and anyone I might be forgetting) I finally finished my sammichSID. Painting was the only hard part. I have a tip for everyone...if you get acrylic paint outside the engravings and onto the plastic you can use Pine Sol on a rag to wipe it off without disturbing the paint in the letters. You can rub pretty hard with the rag and not disturb the paint. I found this was the best way to get the lettering looking sharp. Keep in mind I only tried this with acrylic paint. Good luck!
