sparx Posted February 24, 2010 Report Posted February 24, 2010 Does anyone know what the hole size is on the MB6582 control surface for the LEDs and matrix buttons? Thought I'd seen it somehwere but can't find it now. S Quote
lucem Posted February 24, 2010 Report Posted February 24, 2010 The LEDs are 3mm tight fit. For the buttons it's slightly larger, iirc 3.5mm. The drills are optimized for Omron-style buttons. I'm guessing two scenarios now: a) you're going to drill the panel yourself and want to know what drills to use (in that case, just measure the thickness of the button shaft and a little bit to ensure they don't get stuck) b) you're searching for fitting parts to stuff into a ready panel (in that case, 3mm LEDs and Omron buttons with 13mm shaft length or 15mm shaft length are the way to go) Quote
sparx Posted February 24, 2010 Author Report Posted February 24, 2010 Many thanks for the reply, couldn't remember if the LED holes were 3 or 3.2 and I have mispaced my micrometer for the buttons! Both scenarios incorrect, I am drilling the control surface for an MBFM and have used the same buttons and standard 3mm LEDs. Thanks again. S Quote
Wilba Posted February 25, 2010 Report Posted February 25, 2010 The hole sizes are in the published FPD files for the MB-6582 panels. Quote
