i have a problem installing the pots in a aluminium panel , because they have a small "thing" to prevent rotation , is there a better way to do it , that making ugly holes to the panel ???   lol  (the correct way to do it)

I *think* I know what you mean. I had the same prob with rotation switches.

Why not just cut that small piece off? Or if its made of metall or alu just saw it off?

I had the same thing on my pots for my mb 64. I just grabbed the prong with a needlenose pliers and snapped it off. They are meant to keep the pot from rotating though, so without them you have to tighten the pots pretty good so they don't rotate. I considered using Loctite, but just went without.

Consider drilling a hole, like Pilo said, but measure out the nub, you may not have to drill the hole all the way through the casing, only part way.

Also, if you have access to a drill press, this will help you from slipping and drilling all the way through.
