JRock Posted September 12, 2010 Report Posted September 12, 2010 I'm working on the mod matrix... s there a list or schemo for which pads go to which encoders? I'm taking the detents out, then I am figuring out how to wire the encoders up, (My own CS based on Wilbas...) I haven't been able to find which encoder goes where. Quote
nILS Posted September 12, 2010 Report Posted September 12, 2010 This should be, what you're looking for: http://www.midibox.org/dokuwiki/lib/exe/fetch.php?media=mb-6582:mb-6582_cs_dout_wiring.pdf http://www.midibox.org/dokuwiki/lib/exe/fetch.php?media=mb-6582:mb-6582_cs_din_wiring.pdf Quote
JRock Posted September 12, 2010 Author Report Posted September 12, 2010 Thanks for the fast response. I think these are just for the buttons and LEDs...? That's how I built the matrix, but now I'm wiring up the encoders. Am I missing something? Quote
Hawkeye Posted September 12, 2010 Report Posted September 12, 2010 (edited) Wilba says: "I have not done a diagram for the rotary encoders, as it's a bit redundant… they are connected directly to the first four DIN modules on the base PCB (i.e. JD1 to JD4) as per the normal way of connecting rotary encoders to DIN modules. Just like the LEDs and switches, you can assign them to any pins of DIN modules and configure this in the table in the .asm file." You can find out, how they are actually connected by tracing the PCB .pdfs: http://www.mb6582.org/plans/MB-6582_CS_PCB_R2_Color.pdf http://www.mb6582.org/plans/MB-6582_Base_PCB_R2_Color.pdf Edited September 12, 2010 by Hawkeye Quote
