j00lz Posted September 26, 2010 Report Posted September 26, 2010 Still got to put in feedback pots, and some kind of protection for the LCD. Much thanks to Thorsten and Wilba. I've only just started scratching the surface of this thing, and am absolutely blown away by the possibilities. The attached track uses mostly presets. All sounds are dry, no effects whatsoever. I sampled most of the stuff and sequenced it in Reason, because that's what I'm used to working with... MB_6582_Test3.mp3 Quote
TK. Posted September 26, 2010 Report Posted September 26, 2010 Thank you for publishing this great demo - I really like it! Do you allow me to add it to the MBSID main page? :) Best Regards, Thorsten. Quote
j00lz Posted September 27, 2010 Author Report Posted September 27, 2010 Yes of course feel free to use it as you wish. I would feel very flattered and honoured if it appeared on the main MBSID page. It's like the first step to stardom :hyper:  Quote
JRock Posted September 27, 2010 Report Posted September 27, 2010 That's awesome dude. The song and the build. Congratulations! :sorcerer: Quote
Wilba Posted September 27, 2010 Report Posted September 27, 2010 Congratulations! Good to see another Aussie finish one... also shows how slack I've been, I still haven't finished the 2nd one like this (the 1st is in Munich now). Quote
TK. Posted September 27, 2010 Report Posted September 27, 2010 It's online now - it perfectly demonstrates the stereo capabilities :) (press refresh button of your browser if the MP3 isn't listed below the superpoly demo) Best Regards, Thorsten. Quote
iZZE Posted October 27, 2010 Report Posted October 27, 2010 (edited) Really great demo.. i am jealous... Edited October 31, 2010 by iZZE Quote
pingosimon Posted October 27, 2010 Report Posted October 27, 2010 Nice! What are you going to use for LCD protection, anyway? I've been wondering about that on mine. Quote
Wilba Posted October 28, 2010 Report Posted October 28, 2010 It looks like nothing at the moment. I used a piece of translucent grey 3mm acrylic between the LCD and the panel. You can just cut it roughly and glue it to the back of the panel... no need to get fancy and laser cut it. Quote
j00lz Posted November 6, 2010 Author Report Posted November 6, 2010 Thanks for all the positive feedback! I think I will recycle a piece of clear CD case to use as LCD cover, in the way Wilba suggested. This won't be for a little while though as I am currently very busy with house renovations, house selling, a training course, and starting my own business... Quote
iZZE Posted November 6, 2010 Report Posted November 6, 2010 I used a CD Cover for my LCD protection too.. Just cut it out with a stanley knife and glue it on.. looks good and is free :sorcerer: Quote
