Hendrik Posted March 2, 2011 Report Posted March 2, 2011 Hi all, I've spent hours for searching the forum for an answer to my question. Perhaps I'm blind or it's not said here... I've finished my first Midibox LC with 8 Channels. Now I want to build expansions (with just Motorfaders, Potis & LCD's. Is it possible to connect a total of 4 core-modules? So I can have 32 Faders etc.?? If there is an answer in this forum, I'm sorry for this post. Could then anyone tell me the link? Greetz, Hendrik PS: Sorry for my english, if it's too bad.
nebula Posted March 2, 2011 Report Posted March 2, 2011 MIDIbox LC emulates a Logic Control. You will need a dedicated MIDI port for each LC you connect to your host. But each one functions as an independent unit. They are not connected to each other. Check to see how many Logic Controls you can use with your host software!
Screaming_Rabbit Posted March 2, 2011 Report Posted March 2, 2011 If there is an answer in this forum... Could then anyone tell me the link? Tough Nebula already gave the correct answer, here a matching link anyways Greets, Roger
Hendrik Posted March 2, 2011 Author Report Posted March 2, 2011 Thanks. I use Cubase 5 as host. Perhaps Cubase 6 soon. I use a gm5x5 midi interface. So enough ports. Does anybody know how many LCs are supported by Cubase? Greetz
Screaming_Rabbit Posted March 4, 2011 Report Posted March 4, 2011 Does anybody know how many LCs are supported by Cubase? ... I think you'll find this information in the manual or if not, you can find out in the configuration panel of Cubase. Greets, Roger
Hendrik Posted March 4, 2011 Author Report Posted March 4, 2011 Couldn't find anything in the manual. In Cubase I can add many of the Mackie Controls. So I think I can use my 4 Cores without problems.
