Where to buy 0.1 inch (2.54 mm) pitch ribbon cable?

I'm looking for 0.1 inch (2.54 mm) pitch ribbon cable, for easy soldering to component leads and headers 0.1" apart. I found short (~3 inch) pre-cut pieces of it for a high price (~$2.00 each!) somewhere (I don't remember where), but I'm looking to order it by the meter or possibly a whole roll. Does anyone have any suggestions where to find it?

I live in the United States but I'm willing to buy overseas if shipping costs aren't ridiculous.

It is not cheap here in the UK, although the prices are for 100 feet. It may give you a clue as to what to search for.
