scottsober Posted April 28, 2012 Report Posted April 28, 2012 Hi, I have a working midibox stereo setup.I was wondering if the asidxp program works ,and how to use it?Is it free?I know elektron has it at the elektron .se site.I couldn't get it working however with my midibox.Everything works on my midibox anyway and I am well pleased with it.I just thought it would be nice to get some patches from the asidxp. How do I get the alien groove patch it speaks of in the first steps page of the midibox manual ,and other patches like this?I am new at all this?thanks....---- scott Quote
m00dawg Posted April 28, 2012 Report Posted April 28, 2012 To my knowledge, the only thing asidxp would allow you to do is play C64 SID tunes through MidiBox. Beyond that, the two synthesizer designs are likely too different to make porting patches a possibility today. For be able to manipulate the MBSID, load and save patches, etc., have a look at the sticky threads on this sub-forum as there is both a CTRLR-based solution (still in development) and a Java-based solution (the MBSID Editor).
