Fairlightiii Posted September 1, 2012 Report Posted September 1, 2012 (edited) Hi everybody. First I would like to ask to people that have already experienced the famous couple TL1100F160Q (switch) / C&K PE BK (cap switch) what should be the better aperture size for 3mm acrylic panel with a standard spacer of 10mm? I found differents sizes for differents projects (sammichSID, x0xb0x, Shruthi, ...). Second question: Did anybody used the medium grey acrylic panel of Formulor.de with (red) LED regarding the tranparency? Thank you. Best regards. Edited September 1, 2012 by Fairlightiii Quote
jojjelito Posted September 1, 2012 Report Posted September 1, 2012 Hi, Not to nitpick, but the Shruthi and the standard Ambika use the smaller TACBLK and similar caps. NOT the TA12-series or the PE-BK/WHT etc. Best, J Quote
Fairlightiii Posted September 1, 2012 Author Report Posted September 1, 2012 Thanks jojjelito. It's exact, I didn't realize that before (certainly because I planed to use PE-BK/WHT caps during the casing of my Shruthi)! Regards. Quote
Shuriken Posted September 2, 2012 Report Posted September 2, 2012 (edited) To further nitpick , that Sammich uses the TA12 series. These are 5,70mm width, the TAC series which are used in the Shruthi are 5,5mm Edited September 2, 2012 by Shuriken Quote
Fairlightiii Posted November 22, 2012 Author Report Posted November 22, 2012 NOT the TA12-series or the PE-BK/WHT etc. Hi jojjelito. Is TA12 series equivalent of PE-BK/WHT serie (to be used in MBseq)? Regards. Quote
jojjelito Posted November 22, 2012 Report Posted November 22, 2012 Hi jojjelito. Is TA12 series equivalent of PE-BK/WHT serie (to be used in MBseq)? Regards. Hi J! Yup they are. If you see different measurements it's because it is tapered: /__\ and one of them is measured at the base, the other at the top. Best, J Quote
